At Elevatedwardrobe, we understand that customers may occasionally need to update or cancel an order after it has been placed. Because our fulfillment process begins quickly to ensure fast shipping, requests for order modifications or cancellations are time-sensitive and may not always be possible.
This policy explains when changes or cancellations may be requested, how requests are reviewed, and what options may be available once an order has entered processing or has already been shipped. We encourage customers to review all order details carefully before completing checkout to help avoid unnecessary delays or complications.
1. Requesting an Order Cancellation
If you need to cancel your order, please submit your request as soon as possible after completing your purchase. Since orders move into processing shortly after payment has been confirmed, early notification gives us the best opportunity to review your request before fulfillment begins.
Although we make every reasonable effort to accommodate cancellation requests, submitting a request does not guarantee that cancellation will be possible. Each request is reviewed based on the current processing status of the order.
2. Changing an Existing Order
Customers may request changes to an order before fulfillment has been completed. Depending on the order status, we may be able to review requests involving:
- Shipping address corrections.
- Billing information updates.
- Product size changes.
- Color or style substitutions.
- Quantity adjustments.
- Removal of individual items.
Requested modifications remain subject to inventory availability, payment verification, and processing status. Some requested changes may require cancellation of the original order followed by placement of a new order.
3. Orders Already in Processing
Our warehouse begins preparing eligible orders as quickly as possible to minimize delivery times. Once an order has entered the fulfillment process, our team may already be verifying inventory, packaging products, generating shipping documentation, or preparing the shipment for carrier pickup.
At this stage, cancellation or modification requests may no longer be possible. While we will always review incoming requests, we cannot guarantee changes once processing has begun.
If we are unable to stop processing before shipment, the order will continue through normal fulfillment and delivery.
4. Orders That Have Already Shipped
Once a shipment has been transferred to the shipping carrier, the order can no longer be canceled or modified through our fulfillment team.
After shipment, changes to product selections, shipping addresses, or quantities are generally unavailable because the package is already in transit.
If you no longer wish to keep the order after delivery, you may review our Return & Refund Policy to determine whether your purchase qualifies for a return under the applicable return conditions.
5. Shipping Address Changes
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information during checkout. Before finalizing your purchase, please verify that your name, street address, apartment or suite number, city, state, postal code, and contact information are correct.
If you discover an address error after placing your order, notify us immediately. We will make reasonable efforts to update the shipping address if the shipment has not yet entered carrier processing.
Once a shipping label has been generated or the package has been collected by the carrier, address modifications may no longer be available.
6. Payment Adjustments
Certain order modifications, such as adding products, changing quantities, or selecting different merchandise, may affect your total purchase amount.
If an approved order change results in a price difference, any additional payment or applicable refund will be processed using your original payment method whenever possible.
Pricing adjustments are completed only after the requested changes have been reviewed and approved.
7. Orders Declined or Canceled by Us
In limited situations, we reserve the right to cancel or decline an order before shipment. This may occur when inventory becomes unavailable, payment authorization cannot be completed, pricing errors are identified, duplicate orders are detected, or additional verification is required to prevent fraudulent activity.
If an order is canceled before shipment, any eligible payment authorization or completed payment will be handled according to our standard refund procedures.
8. Multiple Orders
Orders submitted separately are processed independently. We cannot guarantee that multiple individual orders can be combined into a single shipment or modified together after they have entered processing.
If you accidentally place duplicate orders, please contact us immediately so we can review the processing status and determine whether cancellation of one order is still possible.
9. Customer Responsibilities
To help prevent delays or processing issues, customers are encouraged to carefully review all order details before submitting payment. This includes confirming product selections, sizes, colors, quantities, billing information, shipping address, and contact information.
Providing accurate information during checkout significantly reduces the likelihood of needing changes after an order has already entered fulfillment.
10. Policy Updates
We may update this Cancel / Change Order Policy periodically to reflect operational improvements, changes to our fulfillment procedures, or business requirements. Any revisions become effective immediately upon publication on our website.
